apple pay not showing stripe checkout domain
Apple Pay missing after a domain change is a verification miss, not a wallet preference shift. Re-verify the live domain, then re-test Safari.
The actual problem
Apple Pay never appears because domain verification or HTTPS/CSP blocks the button.
Do this
- Stripe → Settings → Apple Pay: verify every checkout domain/subdomain.
- Confirm HTTPS and that the verification file is publicly reachable.
- Test Safari desktop + iOS; Chrome won’t show Apple Pay the same way.
- Fall back to Link/card clearly if Apple Pay isn’t eligible.
