stripe connect application fee not showing
Connect platform fees confuse operators reading payout CSVs. Separate application fees from Stripe’s cut before you explain net to a partner.
The actual problem
Marketplace operators can’t tell if platform fees are collecting, so take-rate math is wrong.
Do this
- Open a recent Connect payment in Stripe and confirm application_fee_amount.
- Compare Dashboard → Connect → payments vs your app’s fee config.
- Log fee % server-side at charge time; alert when fee is 0 on paid traffic SKUs.
- Export balance CSV and score fee ratio in Netkiln for the same window.
