The actual problem
Marketplace Connect charges succeed but application_fee_amount is missing or zero — platform revenue silently drops.
Do this
- Sample 20 recent connected charges for application_fee_amount.
- Confirm fee logic in create PaymentIntent / Checkout Session.
- Re-test both destination and separate charges flows.
- Alert when fee rate drifts below policy for 24h.
