The actual problem

A checkout app or UI extension hides Place order and silently kills conversion.

Do this

1. Checkout editor: disable apps/extensions one by one until Place order returns.
2. Reproduce on iOS Safari and Android Chrome.
3. Remove non-essential checkout apps from paid campaigns’ path.
4. Monitor CVR 48h after each change before re-enabling experiments.
