The actual problem

Continue selling when out of stock creates failed fulfillments, refunds, and ad waste.

Do this

1. Products → inventory policy: disable continue-selling on SKUs you cannot backorder.
2. Export inventory=0 with active status; unpublish or redirect.
3. Sync Meta/Google product feeds after inventory fixes.
4. Re-test top ad PDPs for Add to cart on zero inventory.
